Now firstly, my Hodkinson re-rate from last year was never entered into the database.
------------------
Secondly, I think Jason Taumalolo is a little underrated at 7/6.
In 2014, Jason Taumalolo played 26 matches, scoring 6 tries. He had on average 13 runs per game for 124 metres per match with an average rate of 9.5 metres per run.
So lets compare.
Taumalolo - Attack 7 - 26 matches - 6 tries - 13 runs - 124 metres - 9.5 m/run
Watmough - Attack 9 - 21 matches - 1 try - 13 runs - 110 metres - 8.5 m/run
Gallen - Attack 9 - 11 matches - 2 tries - 16 runs - 131 metres - 8.2 m/run
Merrin - Attack 9 - 21 matches - 2 tries - 16 runs - 137 metres - 8.6 m/run
Fifita - Attack 9 - 13 matches - 0 tries - 16 runs - 132 metres - 8.25 m/run
To me it seems based on those statistics that Taumalolo is worth at least a 9 for attack.
Defensively I feel that Taumalolo is also worth more than his current score of 6.
In the past season, Taumalolo made 496 tackles from 534 attempts at a rate of 92.9% and 19.1 per match.
In comparison
Taumalolo - Defence 6 - 26 matches - 496 tackles - 92.9% tackle rate - 19.1/match
McQueen - Defence 8 - 22 matches - 367 tackles - 93.3% tackle rate - 16.7/match
Brown - Defence 8 - 22 matches - 456 tackles - 91.6% tackle rate - 20.72/match
Bukuya - Defence 8 - 23 matches - 474 tackles - 89.4% tackle rate - 20.6/match
Lowrie - Defence 8 - 22 matches - 241 tackles - 91.3% tackle rate - 11 tackles/match
Bird - Defence 8 - 18 matches - 392 tackles - 85.4% tackle rate - 21.8/match
Based on that I think a defence attribute of 8 is reasonable.
I would also prefer to move him to lock but I'm open to a discussion on that.
So overall what I'm looking for is Attack 9/Defence 8 for Jason Taumalolo.
