The most important contribution to a pleasant game day experience is for the team to win..............which our team apparently finds almost impossible to do.
The next most important thing is the amenities.
Shadowboxer listed a few deficiencies under another thread:
"Anther disturbing thing was that not much on huge game dag changed that much, still long beer queues, coffee machine breakdown, 2 staff pre game in summertime bar, need I go on."
I'd just like to add to that:
1/ Gents toilets blocked with paper in the Southern Stand and water turned off so unable to attempt to flush
2/ No bins in Burns Stand gents toilets. Hand towels all over the place. Soap container open and may have been drained.
3/ Lights were out in the northern end gents toilet
4/ distribution of garbage bins in the outside area were much less than normal. There were 2 bins on the concourse in front of Burns Stand. There did not appear to be bins at the front of the seating level of the Burns Stand as there has been in previous years.
5/ There did not appear to be supervision of seating i.e. a few people were coming into the stand and sitting on the stairs.
You may think I'm being pedantic itemising these issues but it's bad enough watching your team playing sub standard football and losing without having to have our ground gradually turned into a pig sty.
