I'm starting to think we can actually go all the way this year here's why:
1. Despite being 4/4 our halves for the most part have been very average by their standards - they're both classy players though so they'll come good, it's just a matter of when.
2. Gidley is back in his preferred position of fullback, a position where (despite what all the armchair experts say on this forum) he has a helluva lot to offer. He's been unlucky with injuries and being shifted around allover the place I expect to see him really thrive at the back.
3. Aku is gradually growing in confidence with each game after having a disrupted season last year.
4. We have the best winger and centre combinations on both sides of the field in the entire comp.
5. Our young forwards Rochow, Korbin, Stockwell and (judging by last year's form) Tariq have all come of age.
6. We're yet to unleash T.Sims
7. We have the toughest backrow in the comp
8. We have the right attitude
9. Our prop rotation appeared to be our weakness on paper yet it is an area we've shone in the opening 4 rounds. Between Korbin, Tariq, Snowden, Vaivai, Stockwell, Faalogo, Houston, Finn and Mataora we've got it covered.
