Traditionally, the Residents clash is played as a curtain raiser toan Origin game - but this year it is a stand alone event. And rightfully so.
Wonder what game will replace it as an Origin curtain raiser ? The Nellie Doherty / Women's Interstate game ? 20's ?
16's and 18's normally locked in for the other two.
Personally wouldn't mind seeing the third tier QLD / NSW teams drawn from the revamped BRL comp, Bne 2nd Div and country leagues for QLD, AND Ron Massey Cup, Sydney Shield, District and country leagues for NSW.
