Mullen Out for 4-6 Weeks

After medical consultations this week, Newcastle Knights five-eighth Jarrod Mullen has been ruled out for 4-6 weeks due to a toe injury. Mullen has injured the medial sesamoid in his right foot and the plan is to manage the injury. “This is obviously disappointing and a particularly frustrating time to be sidelined, however this is the best option and hopefully I can get it right,” Mullen said. Mullen will be rested to allow his toe a chance to heal on its own before season ending surgery is considered.
