Recruitment and a few players in particular have been the source of much derision in this place of late.
Shall we make some bold predictions about the newbies and how many games they will play in 2015?
Here’s my few penneth for what it’s worth.
1. Marketo 20+ games, 6+ tries, will play in a least three utility positions
2. Nabuli 20+ games 15 + tries. Will need some ball though and Nielsen is a worry.
3. O’Brien 15+ games solid 1st grade player improving as the year wears on
4. Nielsen Less than 6 games unless he shows a big improvement
5. Rose Barring injury, the entire season
6. L’estrange If Rein stays fit, stays in the cutters. Rein will rep this year
7. Nutira 8 + due to injury of other members of FG pack
8. Keating Will only play if halves are injured and that’s a possibility
I’m thinking that Neilsen is the only questionable buy so far. Keating provides depth as does L’estrange
