Yesterday, I decided to check out the local rugby league juniors website. This website has an icon that has a drop down box detailing the local club names. When you click on a club icon you are bombarded with FOXTEL adverts! Hardly what someone is after when they are trying to register a player into rugby league?
This website is way too complicated and has its priorities in the wrong order . This is compromising the ability of rugby league to gain juniors. If this website is replicated throughout Australia it will be of no help for rugby league as it is way too difficult and not satisfying the purpose of the person looking at it. That is to find a contact and register a player.
On the same day the local rugby union had a half page advert in the local Herald newspaper detailing club websites, phone numbers and first names. Much more effective and will gain people new to this sport no doubt. Unfortunately what the local rugby league is doing is nowhere near as effective!

Fox Pulse website is no good for junior RL recruitment
